2nd Grade Patriotic Program

Kaylee had her 2nd grade Program at the Clearfield High School Auditorium. They did such a good job. I really enjoyed all the songs. You could tell that they worked really hard practicing to make sure they knew all the songs, because they sounded loud and clear. The teachers did an awesome job. I bet they are relieved that it is over. Kaylee looked really cute with her red, white and blue hat. She was very excited to sing infront of everyone.

Piano Recital 2012

Kaylee had her 1st Piano Recital on March 24th. She did such a good job. We are so proud of her. She performed 2 songs that were her favorites from the books that she has learned from. We want her to continue taking piano lessons and hopefully she will continue until she is able to play very well. Her teacher played a song from Phantom of the Opera. She did a beautiful job. I would like Kaylee to someday be able to play that song.

Our Nephew "Andrew"

On March 13th Jorge's nephew came to visit us from Venezuela. We've had alot of fun having him in our home. He will return to Venezuela on April 13th. It has been nice for the kids to hang out with one of their oldest cousins.

St Patrick's Day Banner (Decoration)

I was looking through a blog that I follow. I've made several things that she shows in her blog and they have all turned out really nice. I saw a cute St Patrick's Day banner and thought to give it a try. It turned out very cute and easy to make. I made two of them one for my kitchen window and the other for the Dining room window. Here is how they look like.

1st Grade Animal Zoo

Braden had his Animal Zoo Parade. He chose to be a Scorpion. He wrote a report about Scorpions and Joge helped in making a Scorpion Costume for the Parade. It was a great looking costume, he was the only scorpion in the whole parade. It was great to go and see the kids parading in their different costumes.

February

I guess our lives are not that exciting. We really have not done anything fun lately. I can say that jorge went on a business trip to Burbank, California for 2 days. It was his first business trip. He missed his flight home so he came home the next day. Ths kids have been doing good. Just plugging along with school. Doing a good job with their reading, math and everything else they are learning. Braden has been playing Basketball with the Jr Jazz. He is playing better, better each time. He started not knowing how to play and now he has an idea of how the game goes. Kaylee is still in piano and liking it. She has a recital coming up this month. But she would like to get into dance soon. Hopefully we will be able to get her into a nice place. As for me, I am working and taking care of the house. Started exercising and eating healthy. I hope I can stick to it this time. I really want to loose the weight and look, feel better. My mom had a birthday on the 26th of February and we all went to celebrate her birthday at The Mandarin in Bountiful. The food was great and we all had a great time together.
