Braden's First Pine Wood Derby!

This year Braden got to make his first ever Pine Wood Derby car (with the help of Jorge). He was extremely excited to be part of this competition. They both made the car. Which turned out awesome. On the day of the competition the car needed to weigh a certain amount of ounces so that it could ride down the race track. So they proceeded in hot gluing pennies to the bottom of the car to make it heavy enough. When it was Braden's turn to race his car, to our wonderful surprise he won!! He was so excited. He got to race his car several more times and he kept on winning. He only placed 2nd place on one race and the rest he won. After the race competition was over, they started giving trophies to all the boys that won under their own den's. Braden came out winning 1st place in the wolf den. We were all so surprised yet very proud of our first time car.
